This business was very helpful and when I asked for assistance in checking on men's wedding bands they were very prompt in giving me what I needed. This family owned business has beautiful works of art and designs in the jewelry that they sale. Especially in the wedding rings for women. The men's wedding bands are just as beautiful as well. My boyfriend and I had gone to multiple retail locations to start the process of figuring out what we liked for engagement rings. At every storefront location, it seemed like the process was getting harder and much more stressful. The last stop was Cornelis Hollander. Walking in we knew immediately this experience was going to be different. Not only did it feel like the process of figuring out what we liked and wanted, we were confident in moving forward with custom engagement rings. We worked with Katie, who understood the initial overwhelm and was so helpful. With our experience, and the contrasting experience with other Jewlers, I’d highly recommend coming here. I’m also a vet, just returned home and the loud noises of big Jewlers/the flashy bs don’t help me when trying to stay focused, too many people creates a sense of anxiety. I can’t speak highly of this location and their team enough. It’s quiet, a one on one experience that feels like they have your best interest at heart. You can tell they love what they do.

I researched several jewelers in town before choosing CH to design my 20th anniversary diamond ring. I had been saving ideas for over 2 years. I knew I liked specific design elements from several different rings, but I didn’t know how they could all possibly come together. CH had tons of designs that were along the same idea that I was looking for- modern but still looks like an actual engagement ring, and of course unique! We sat down with Walter and went over all of my ideas and pictures I had saved over 2 years. He is a true artist! He took his time and came up with several different designs incorporating all of the details I was looking for. I kept changing little things during the design process, but he remained totally calm and understanding- and kept his sense of humor during the entire process! It took a couple month to complete because I kept changing things, but the final ring is exactly everything that I wanted!!! We were so happy with the process and the end result that I had him make my mother’s engagement ring into a pendant a couple weeks later! We will definitely be using him for all of our jewelry needs going forward. We just can’t recommend him enough!!

I have been using this jeweler for years and I love their original designs. Many are so simplistic that they yell classic and you know they will hold up over time. I have used their designs and I've had them make some of my own designs. Either way the pieces come out perfectly. I brought in heirloom pieces of Jewelry to Cornelis. Most of which didn't fit me and wanted to make a ring with all of the different pieces that I could wear. We collaborated on the design, and he was so much fun to work with. Very professional as well. When I received the ring it exceeded my expectations and is just stunning. We worked with Walter designing my dream engagement ring. He was very attentive to what I was looking for and designed a few versions until I was happy with every aspect of the design. Walter had several suggestions that worked out great and made my ring unique. He emailed me 3D versions so I can get a visual on each version. I selected the design I wanted then I was presented with a wax version, so I could try it on before making the actual ring. When the ring was complete, we were extremely happy with the finished product, the beautiful high-quality craftsmanship was evident. I had my engagement ring and wedding band custom designed at Cornelis Hollander and it is absolutely beautiful. When my (now) husband and I went into the store, we were immediately taken care of, and were shown so many different options. We ended up taking one of Cornelis' designs, and making it our own. I love that my ring is different, and no one else has one exactly like it. I have received so many compliments over the years and everyone always says they love how different my ring is, and they've never seen anything like it. The craftsmanship and design are impeccable.

First, I am truly sad that Cornelis is no longer with us; a true artist. He designed my ring as I requested, taking inspiration from 3 of his designs combined; came out exactly as imagined. Beautiful elegant and very different from all the every day wedding rings out there! This was my 3rd wedding ring I was changing because I just did’t quite like what was out there! 10 years later and I’m still in love with my ring! Walter and the staff at Cornelis Hollander Designs are awesome! Had zero experience with shopping for jewelry, let alone designing a custom piece. They took the time to show me multiple rings and point out the features that accentuated each one, respectively. We compiled the elements I liked from several of them. Within 48hrs I had a rendering of what the ring would look like (didn’t even realize I was designing it with them). They took my feedback, we went back and forth several times (staff is amazingly patient) until it was perfect, and then delivered perfection! The biggest part of this was using stones from an existing ring with heavy sentimental value. I never once felt that I had to worry about the quality of the work, the preservation of the stones or the beauty of the finished ring. The only hard part was hiding it while traveling with my then girlfriend, and now fiancée. Thanks for perfect ring for a perfect person!

This is my favorite jewelry store to go and look around. All the jewelry is hand made and one of a kind! Always kind people working here that help you out and explain everything clear. We got our Wedding rings here, after talking with the owner he supplied us with what jewel works with the right metal we choose for our rings. It was a quick process and we are more than happy with the experience!!

Wow! This place has gorgeous one-of-a kind jewelry! The location has a nice open feeling with lots of natural light so you can see how the jewelry looks in natural light. I brought my ring in to get it appraised. It is a family run business, Christa, the owner was super nice and introduced me to Walter, her son who went in the back to proceed with the appraisal. In the mean time, I perused and looked at the rings, necklaces, bracelets and other jewelry. They are honest and give great advice. There were so many piece that caught my eye, I'll definitely be back to buy a unique piece of jewelry art!

I have been a customer for almost 20 years now. I traveled from Denver to Scottsadle to get an engagement ring created...for round 2 ; ) Cornelis designed my first tension set engagement ring that had my grandmother's diamond in it. So when it was time to re-design, knowing I wanted to use the same stone, there was no place else I was going to go. It was a pleasure to meet and work with Walter, and I was sorry to hear about the passing of his father. I brought my first ring that his dad designed with me, and I saw his eyes light up upon holding it. Once we knew I was going with another Hollander design, he asked to purchase it from me. That meant so much...as it was from another time in my life, but it held many great memories and I hope someone else enjoys wearing it as much as I did. I have a Cornelis Hollander wedding ring that I purchased elsewhere many years ago. I LOVE my ring. It is stunning and unique as are all of the Cornelis Hollander designs. Unfortunately, I developed a gold contact allergy and went into Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs to have it reset in platinum. I happened to run into Tina who helped me when I originally bought the ring. It was a wonderful gift to see her again and she was very understanding about my allergy and very helpful. ( I have gone to other jewelers who were not as understanding about my allergy regarding other pieces.) I haven't gotten the ring back yet but I can't wait!
