This is my favorite jewelry store to go and look around. All the jewelry is hand made and one of a kind! Always kind people working here that help you out and explain everything clear. We got our Wedding rings here, after talking with the owner he supplied us with what jewel works with the right metal we choose for our rings. It was a quick process and we are more than happy with the experience!!

I lost a ring that was a meaningful gift from my boyfriend. After debating, I contact Cornelis Hollander to have it remade. Tina was extremely helpful, she found the information on the ring immediately, told me it would take 3 weeks, but somehow they did it much faster. Tina was very sweet, responsive, and professional. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. And the ring, just stunning, unique, and perfect. I am constantly getting compliments and would refer anyone in a heartbeat. My husband and I found this place after leaving another jeweler in tears. We wanted to encorporate my engagement ring with my two grandmothers' rings. The first jeweler we tried kept all three rings for 8 weeks only to give us an option for a completely new ring using NONE of the other rings we already had! So dumb! We drove by Cornelis Hollander and even though they were closing in 30 minutes, they took rings, listened to what I wanted and said they'd have a plan by the next morning. Not only did they send me a sketch of my ring, but they also did a 3-D mockup so I could see how it would look. They also had it completed in 8 days! I am so happy with my ring. They will be our jeweler for life! We were very sad to hear of Cornelis's passing, but know his son and the rest of the staff will easily continue the highest level of service and design. Walter and the team at Cornelis Hollander Jewelry were outstanding. From email response to in-person customer service, I felt confident that they would be able to handle my needs. My first job was fairly standard with the sizing of a platinum band, while my second job was to restore an antique heirloom ring. The job entailed shank replacement where yellow gold was used instead of rose gold plus sapphire replacement to match the original center stone. Both rings were completed beautifully, but Walter exceeded my expectations by ensuring my antique was fully restored with new prongs to ensure it will last another 100+ years. I highly recommend Cornelis Hollander Jewlery whether you want a custom piece, a more traditional piece or just your everyday repairs.

I have been a customer for almost 20 years now. I traveled from Denver to Scottsadle to get an engagement ring created...for round 2 ; ) Cornelis designed my first tension set engagement ring that had my grandmother's diamond in it. So when it was time to re-design, knowing I wanted to use the same stone, there was no place else I was going to go. It was a pleasure to meet and work with Walter, and I was sorry to hear about the passing of his father. I brought my first ring that his dad designed with me, and I saw his eyes light up upon holding it. Once we knew I was going with another Hollander design, he asked to purchase it from me. That meant so much...as it was from another time in my life, but it held many great memories and I hope someone else enjoys wearing it as much as I did. And as for my NEW ring, it's AMAZING and I get so many compliments on it. I very much feel like part of the family at Hollander and would not go anywhere else for my jewelry needs. Although as Walter said, " I'm happy to make you anything you like, but no more engagement rings!"

Walter is a true artist and genius designer. We came to him with a very special family heirloom engagement ring we wanted to design to not only protect the 3ct marquise, but utilize the original baguettes into a “starship alien engagement ring”. He totally exceeded our expectations in both visually and structurally. I’d recommend anyone here to either purchase a beautiful and unique design or create their own with the aid of Walter’s talent. We’re beyond grateful for all the hard work, talent and care put into making our dream ring.

My fiancé proposed to me with a family heirloom ring as a 'stand-in' for THE ring which he wanted me to design/select as we would be using a gorgeous diamond that he had been bequeathed. He had already done some research and really loved the unique designs offered by Cornelis Hollander. We visited the store and I absolutely fell in love with their designs ~ especially one. My wedding ring is an original CH design. Was honored to meet the designer (Cornelis Hollander) many years ago at the Scottsdale store. Now his son Walter, designed a matching band for my wedding ring, he took my vision and was able to create the most unique band, it is gorgeous! The apple did not fall far from the tree. Walter is fantastic to work with. I love my “new” wedding ring set - if that is even possible. Exceptional workmanship and design. Will be back for a second band. My son also purchased the engagement ring for his fiancé - a fabulous ring from CH. Walter and his staff were extremely helpful and made the purchase a pleasant experience for my son and his fiancé. Loved my ring buying experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I even got a great deal. I was terrified when starting my search for an engagement ring but the staff at Cornelis put me at ease and assured me they will try to find me a ring that works within my budget and they have easy to understand and qualify for financing. Dec 2020With my upcoming wedding anniversary coming up, I went and met with Walter to look at the various ring designs in person for a custom piece my husband was getting me. Mind you, I already knew that my new ring would be a Cornelis Hollander band- I fell in love with his designs the first time I saw them at least 10yrs ago and I finally was ready to get what I really wanted...And I wanted a Green Tourmaline ring like the one Cornelis Hollander designed!He was very helpful even at our first in person consultation and then we kept in contact over email within the next weeks with the various details of the ring design and cost estimates. At no point did I feel pressured or like Walter was being a "sales person", the whole process really felt casual, flexible... and I felt heard and understood and never rushed or pushed. When I got the visual of the approximate ring, I was so excited and then when I went in to try the wax sample, I was elated- their rings have a heft and a bold look to them that I just love and I didn't have a doubt it would be gorgeous once cast. I am in love with this beauty!Walter, thank you so much for your patience and working with me to get the piece I've been wanting for a decade! I feel so proud just to have this little piece of your father's creative legacy!

I worked in the jewelry industry for a few years and know how unscrupulous some stores can be. I was so impressed with the care I received when I chose the new setting for my stone. Walter took all the time I needed to select the perfect setting. I was blessed to be one of Cornelis last customers and he spent time exposing everything. We worked with Walter designing my dream engagement ring. He was very attentive to what I was looking for and designed a few versions until I was happy with every aspect of the design. Walter had several suggestions that worked out great and made my ring unique. He emailed me 3D versions so I can get a visual on each version. I selected the design I wanted then I was presented with a wax version, so I could try it on before making the actual ring. When the ring was complete, we were extremely happy with the finished product, the beautiful high-quality craftsmanship was evident. The location of the store in the Scottsdale Arts District totally fits the vibe of this store. This was my first time at Cornelis Hollander and I'm happy to keep coming back to Walter for gorgeous jewelry.

My wife has been collecting Cornelius Hollander jewelry for 35 years. Not only are they wonderful pieces of jewelry but Works of Art. Cornelius was instrumental in founding a major change in the jewelry industry by making his custom pieces wearable art. My boyfriend and I had gone to multiple retail locations to start the process of figuring out what we liked for engagement rings. At every storefront location, it seemed like the process was getting harder and much more stressful. The last stop was Cornelis Hollander. Walking in we knew immediately this experience was going to be different. Not only did it feel like the process of figuring out what we liked and wanted, we were confident in moving forward with custom engagement rings. We worked with Katie, who understood the initial overwhelm and was so helpful. With our experience, and the contrasting experience with other Jewlers, I’d highly recommend coming here. I’m also a vet, just returned home and the loud noises of big Jewlers/the flashy bs don’t help me when trying to stay focused, too many people creates a sense of anxiety. I can’t speak highly of this location and their team enough. It’s quiet, a one on one experience that feels like they have your best interest at heart. You can tell they love what they do.

I researched several jewelers in town before choosing CH to design my 20th anniversary diamond ring. I had been saving ideas for over 2 years. I knew I liked specific design elements from several different rings, but I didn’t know how they could all possibly come together. CH had tons of designs that were along the same idea that I was looking for- modern but still looks like an actual engagement ring, and of course unique! We sat down with Walter and went over all of my ideas and pictures I had saved over 2 years. He is a true artist! He took his time and came up with several different designs incorporating all of the details I was looking for. I kept changing little things during the design process, but he remained totally calm and understanding- and kept his sense of humor during the entire process! It took a couple month to complete because I kept changing things, but the final ring is exactly everything that I wanted!!! We were so happy with the process and the end result that I had him make my mother’s engagement ring into a pendant a couple weeks later! We will definitely be using him for all of our jewelry needs going forward. We just can’t recommend him enough!!

I brought in heirloom pieces of Jewelry to Cornelis. Most of which didn't fit me and wanted to make a ring with all of the different pieces that I could wear. We collaborated on the design, and he was so much fun to work with. Very professional as well. When I received the ring it exceeded my expectations and is just stunning. Outstanding customer service. I had a very special case, where my beautiful ring of over 23 years got stolen during a summer vacation. This ring was a gift from my dear mother in law. I was able to track and contact the designers, which are Cornelis Hollander. The care and personalized service I received was like no other. They provided me with a detailed document that described the specifications of the ring precisely to present it to my insurance company. It is not easy to provide specifications of a ring that was purchased over 23 years ago. But with patience and their expertise, they were able to do so. This was a very emotional matter to me, Walter and Christa and their whole team were empathetic and very supportive. I can't wait to work with them, hopefully soon, to design a replica of my ring to honor my mother in law. Thank you Cornelis Hollander and the whole team, you have set the bar very high !

I have been eyeing these designs for years, just waiting for the right time. When the time came I reached out on line and Tina was awesome from the start. She helped me through the process of narrowing things down then helped me step by step with all of the variables that come with an engagement ring. Once I was finally ready to come in person she met me there and guided me through all of the choices with good advice and TONS of patience. She made sure I was 100% confident in what I chose and assured me if there was anything that needed to be changed or adjusted she would have it done right away. I have a Cornelis Hollander wedding ring that I purchased elsewhere many years ago. I LOVE my ring. It is stunning and unique as are all of the Cornelis Hollander designs. Unfortunately, I developed a gold contact allergy and went into Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs to have it reset in platinum. I happened to run into Tina who helped me when I originally bought the ring. It was a wonderful gift to see her again and she was very understanding about my allergy and very helpful. ( I have gone to other jewelers who were not as understanding about my allergy regarding other pieces.) I haven't gotten the ring back yet but I can't wait!
