My wedding ring is an original CH design. Was honored to meet the designer (Cornelis Hollander) many years ago at the Scottsdale store. Now his son Walter, designed a matching band for my wedding ring, he took my vision and was able to create the most unique band, it is gorgeous! The apple did not fall far from the tree. Walter is fantastic to work with. I love my “new” wedding ring set - if that is even possible. Exceptional workmanship and design. Will be back for a second band. My son also purchased the engagement ring for his fiancé - a fabulous ring from CH. Walter and his staff were extremely helpful and made the purchase a pleasant experience for my son and his fiancé. My husband and I came in with an engagement ring but were looking for a custom designed wedding band. Walter worked very closely with us, listened, and designed a beautiful and unique band that incorporated all our wishes. The result was stunning and better than we thought possible. Highly Recommend! I purchased my husbands ring after searching for months. I wanted to find something unique but nothing stood out enough until I found Cornelis Hollander in Old Town Scottsdale. We looked at all of the rings in his showroom and asked him to modify/customize one his own designs for us. On one occasion my husband had accidentally banged his ring on a door handle so hard that a few stones were knocked out and when we took it in for repair, they were replaced and the ring made to look new again at no cost to us. Flash forward a few more years when my husband's ring was lost. He loved the design so much that we had it replaced with exactly the same design, only changing the metal from 18k gold to Cobalt. We have been very pleased with their level of customer service and would highly recommend Cornelis Hollander if you want something unique, substantial and modern. It has been almost 14 years since our original purchase and probably about 10 since we replaced. Though we haven't taken it in for polishing in years, it still looks great!

Walter and the staff at Cornelis Hollander Designs are awesome! Had zero experience with shopping for jewelry, let alone designing a custom piece. They took the time to show me multiple rings and point out the features that accentuated each one, respectively. We compiled the elements I liked from several of them. Within 48hrs I had a rendering of what the ring would look like (didn’t even realize I was designing it with them). They took my feedback, we went back and forth several times (staff is amazingly patient) until it was perfect, and then delivered perfection! The biggest part of this was using stones from an existing ring with heavy sentimental value. I never once felt that I had to worry about the quality of the work, the preservation of the stones or the beauty of the finished ring. The only hard part was hiding it while traveling with my then girlfriend, and now fiancée. Thanks for perfect ring for a perfect person!

From the moment I walked in with my family to their store I knew that this place was perfect for what we were looking for. Tina and Walter were so welcoming and easy to work with. They really took my ideas and turned them into a reality- something that I did not know was possible. I have not received my finished ring yet but I have full confidence that it will be everything I was looking for. I cannot recommend them enough. I never thought I would be so crazy about a wedding ring or any piece of jewelry. They were able to put all of my meaningful ideas into the piece of art and I can't wait to have it on my finger!

Absolutely love my engagement ring from Cornelis Hollander!!! My fiance and I worked with Walter to have a diamond I inherited set into a new setting. The entire process was easy and Walter was very professional. We were considering other options from Hamras, Tiffany's and Cartier, but I loved this design and wanted something more unique. I couldn't be happier with how the ring turned out! These iphone pictures don't do it justice. I highly recommend C.H. if you're looking to have custom work done! 🙂 Just updating to add that we had Walter make me a wedding band with pink diamonds & it turned out beautiful!!! It compliments the ring perfectly. I also like having the band to wear by itself when I travel overseas since it is less flashy. It is very cute, almost heart-shaped, and looks great on it's own! FYI - the photo of the two rings together was also taken with my iphone, so the quality isn't great.

My husband went to Cornelius Hollander for a brand new wedding ring after our 12 yr wedding anniversary. Tina was his salesperson , even though the ring wasn't ready by the first date we were given , because Tina said the designer was a perfectionist. I was okay with waiting a little longer after 12 yrs . My husband designed the ring custom made just for me, so it was worth the wait. I am very pleased with the finished product! Thanks Tina! Dec 2020With my upcoming wedding anniversary coming up, I went and met with Walter to look at the various ring designs in person for a custom piece my husband was getting me. Mind you, I already knew that my new ring would be a Cornelis Hollander band- I fell in love with his designs the first time I saw them at least 10yrs ago and I finally was ready to get what I really wanted...And I wanted a Green Tourmaline ring like the one Cornelis Hollander designed!He was very helpful even at our first in person consultation and then we kept in contact over email within the next weeks with the various details of the ring design and cost estimates. At no point did I feel pressured or like Walter was being a "sales person", the whole process really felt casual, flexible... and I felt heard and understood and never rushed or pushed. When I got the visual of the approximate ring, I was so excited and then when I went in to try the wax sample, I was elated- their rings have a heft and a bold look to them that I just love and I didn't have a doubt it would be gorgeous once cast. I am in love with this beauty!Walter, thank you so much for your patience and working with me to get the piece I've been wanting for a decade! I feel so proud just to have this little piece of your father's creative legacy!

I purchased a BEAUTIFUL wedding ring, a pair of diamond studs, and two high end watches from Cornelis. He had been my jeweler to go to because I TRUST him completely. Not only his designs are exquisite but his service is beyond satisfactory. I lost two small diamonds in the setting and Cornelis, not only replaced them at no cost, but he cleaned and polished the ring for me. I miss Cornelis but I have no doubt the team he left behind is doing an excellent job as the legend himself.

My wife and I chose Cornelis Hollander after interviewing a couple of top custom jewelers. Walter was perfect for us. They have a portfolio of fabulous designs to start with. My wife Esther and I are both designers and wanted to create something unique to replace her current wedding ring. Walter worked together with Esther capturing her design ideas perfectly. He did 3D imaging first, then when details were worked out, he did a 3D printing of the ring to ensure everything is perfect before manufacturing it. We couldn’t be happier with the results! We wouldn’t go to anyone else and give them our highest recommendation!

Walter is a true artist and genius designer. We came to him with a very special family heirloom engagement ring we wanted to design to not only protect the 3ct marquise, but utilize the original baguettes into a “starship alien engagement ring”. He totally exceeded our expectations in both visually and structurally. I’d recommend anyone here to either purchase a beautiful and unique design or create their own with the aid of Walter’s talent. Okay, so I never should have looked at the ads, that would have saved me lots of money. But, I did, and then a detour had to occur so I could see the rings in person (we were in Sedona). First, I was in touch with Walter and later Tina from Hollander Jewelry. Tina was the person with whom I met after our correspondence. She was also the person who looked up all the prices of the rings that I had seen (in the ad) and lusted for (possibly) and then got back to me via emails prior to my visit. It was inevitable that I would find a ring that I wanted, the question was would I be willing to fork out the money. Well, I did. The ring arrived (Tina kept in touch, so I knew when to expect the ring), which was a good thing because my post office left it at my front door. I don't know what else could have been done because I was supposed to sign for the package, but that issue is "on" my post office, not the store. My ring is utterly lovely and I feel like a young lady who has to stare at her shiny glittery ring.

I purchased a custom wedding band and engagement ring set that Cornelis made specifically for my fiancé and now wife of Ten Years! My soulmate constantly gets compliments from everyone, everywhere we go. “I’ve never seen a ring like that” “ that’s awesome where did you get that?” My wife says and you never will! She says this was made just for me.....& her eyes sparkle when she says it! I think anyone can go to a box store and buy a mass produced price of jewelry, but why would you? You get one true love in life! Why not get your partner something as rare, special, unique, and beautiful as they are and what they mean to you! This is the most attention and customer service friendly place I’ve ever purchased jewelry from. I have high dollar watches etc from other boutiques however they don’t follow up. I still get follow up email and calls from CH to make sure I’m happy! I was devastated to hear Cornelis had passed but krista ( sorry if I misspelled that) and his son still carry the torch with integrity, design, and style! I don’t usually take time to write reviews, but they took time to make my day special! It’s only fair to be honest and tell you how great this family and brand truly are. I had been looking for a unique, modern style for my wedding ring for a while when I met another girl whose ring caught my eye. Following her advice, I checked out the Cornelis Hollander store when I was in old town Scottsdale one day, and just fell in love with his designs. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And unlike chain stores, where what you see is it, here they encourage you to be creative, pick and choose different parts of different rings that you like to come up with something truly your own. And Cornelis himself is there most of the time to help with the design process. We ended up feeling like he was more of a friend than just a jeweler. I get random people complimenting me on my ring all of the time now. Highly recommend!

The store is filled with extraordinary jewelry, all designed by Cornelis Hollander. His specialty is the unique selection of exquisite engagement rings. You will find that nothing is ordinary and no design is stationary. I was caught between different rings and Cornelis picked my brain until we came out with a design mixture that I can call my own. I have a Cornelis Hollander wedding ring that I purchased elsewhere many years ago. I LOVE my ring. It is stunning and unique as are all of the Cornelis Hollander designs. Unfortunately, I developed a gold contact allergy and went into Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs to have it reset in platinum. I happened to run into Tina who helped me when I originally bought the ring. It was a wonderful gift to see her again and she was very understanding about my allergy and very helpful. ( I have gone to other jewelers who were not as understanding about my allergy regarding other pieces.) I haven't gotten the ring back yet but I can't wait! If you want a beautiful piece of jewelry from a great, helpful crew, look no further!
