"Black Sheep" by Cornelis Hollander
I am often asked how I came up the idea of the "Black Sheep" Collection.
My designs are very sculpture like, so when I implement my design ideas using precious metals like Platinum and high Karat Gold the materials alone make the pieces somewhat expensive.
I wanted to create a product line that would allow me to express my designs and styles in a medium that enables us to offer the collection to a broader audience at an attractive price point. So the Black Sheep Collection was born.
Just like a name, this is the Black Sheep of Cornelis Hollander Designs! All of my designs to date are exclusive high-end jewelry, but the Black Sheep Collection is an adventurous experiment for me to deliver my distinctive style using Sterling Silver and Black Diamonds.
I am very excited by the immediate popularity of the pieces with both men and women, even our complementary Black Sheep logo t-shirt has become an in demand item.
